The Swansea winger says he does not have adequate information of their opponents in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers

Ghana vice-captain Andre Ayew says he has little knowledge of Comoros, who the Black Stars will face in the 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifiers in few days.

Both teams will clash in a double header on November 13 and 17.

“I know only a few players in their team,” Ayew told reporters at the Accra Sports Stadium.

“Most of them play in France, in the second and third division, etc. So, it’s not a team that you can underrate.

“We will be playing on a difficult pitch which is the Astroturf. It’s not good for your body or for the game but we are going to prepare to adapt to the situation because we want to qualify.”

The Black Stars are putting house in order amid rumours of an imminent slash in winning bonuses by up to 50 per cent, but there have been no official confirmation.

“I have been informed by the captain [Asamoah Gyan] of all the things that are ongoing and there are a lot of talks behind the scene.

“We are preparing to play our match and waiting for the outstanding debts they [sports ministry] owe us to be paid.

“We hope the GFA and the ministry can work this out”.

The Black Stars are expected to depart for Comoros on Wednesday ahead of Friday’s encounter.
