Majeed Waris has declared that he is enjoying life at French side Nantes FC.

The 27-year-old joined the Canaries on a season-long loan from Portuguese giants FC Porto after his inability to earn regular playing time.

The Ghanaian forward is in a positive dynamic, despite the delicate period traversed by the side.

In an interview with the media on how he feels to play for Nantes FC he said, “Well, Here, it's like a family. I'm happy to be here. We work hard, we are together, we help each other. I am convinced that when you work hard, you are rewarded. There are always more difficult moments but I never give up, I try to keep a positive state of mind.”

He continued by saying that there are no easy matches in the Ligue 1 as the team prepares for this weekend’s clash against Monaco.

“In Ligue 1, there is no easy match. In view of our ranking, we really needed this victory in Caen. We must keep this positive energy in Monaco. The Monegasque team has quality players, able to make the difference at any time.”

Waris has scored four goals this season, and registered 23 appearances in the league. He has two goals to his credit in the French Cup.

They currently lie 14th on the league log.
