Maritzburg United goalkeeper, Richard Ofori has revealed that his focus is currently not on winning the Premier Soccer League (PSL) goalkeeper of the year award at the end of the 2019/2020 season.

The Black Stars' first-choice goalkeeper has continued his impressive form from last season and remains one of the best shot-stoppers in the PSL this season.

While he is among a few goalkeepers tipped to eventually emerge with the golden glove award at the end of the campaign, Richard Ofori says his attention is not on that but rather he wants to keep enjoying his football.

“No, I won't say I'm thinking about the goalkeeper of the season award, because at the end of the day you need to do your work well and after that, it will be decided.

“For now I'm enjoying my football and at the end of the season we will see how we go”, Ofori said.

The Ghanaian international remains linked with a move to Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates who are reportedly planning to poach him from Maritzburg United.
