Ex-New Edubiase United attacker Abdul-Basit Adam is looking forward to a positive season in the South African top-flight after battling injuries last season.
The 19-year-old Ghanaian enforcer is praying for an injury-free term in the PSL after witnessing just three games from the bench with Free State Stars last season.
Adam has told Goal Ghana he has fully recovered and will be aiming at more playing time when the PSL resumes.
“I was getting much playing time last season as compared to this season. I wasn't playing regularly this season not because I've lost form but was due to injuries and illness. But I've recovered and I'm looking forward to start more games when the league resumes,” Adam told Goal.
Meanwhile, the striker believes Ghana can go far in the Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea next January.
“I think all the players who have been invited can play and I don't think there is any player who is doubtful of playing as everybody can play. So all depends on the players’ commitment and with that Ghana can go far and win the tournament,” he pointed out.
