Head Coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Maxwell Konadu is seemingly fed up with the Coronavirus induced break with the gaffer confessing that he has missed the game dearly.
The Covid-19 crisis has decimated football globally, bringing almost all competitions worldwide to a halt.
Ghana’s situation is no different from the Ghana Football Association suspending the football leagues to conform with directives issued by the government to contain the spread of the virus.
The league has been on break since March 15 and for Maxwell Konadu he cannot wait for football to return.
“I seriously miss the players, those fond memories of when we go for training and we engage in playful acts before sessions begin”.
“If you put all together, you will come to understand that this Covid-19 pandemic has really affected us”.
“But we should not lose hope, there will definitely be an end to this, God will show the way and gracefully help so we can get to meet again”.
“Honestly, I miss football, I miss Ghana Football in particular and the players we work with, but I know it won’t be long we shall meet again to continue our work”, Konadu stated
The former Black Stars assistant coach has however advised that all Kotoko supporters and Ghanaians at large strictly abide by all health protocols to help against getting infected with the virus.
“I implore everyone to take the instructions from the health personnel have put in place for us”.
“Lets wash our hands regularly
Let’s try our very best not to be touching our eyes, nose or mouth”.
“Let’s consume more hot stuff, everything will be okay”, he noted.
