Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus has opened up about his bicycle kick goal that he scored for West Ham in their last game of the season against Manchester City.

Mohammed Kudus scored a beautiful overhead goal against Manchester City to wrap up his debut season in the Premier League 2023/24.

Although his side suffered a 3-1 defeat to Manchester City in the game, it was Kudus' goal that resonated more with the fans.

Reacting to the goal at the Ghana Football Awards, Kudus noted that he envisioned the goal when he spotted the ball in the air.

"Those kinds of actions are just instinct; they barely happen in the game. When I envisioned it in my head, I just went with my instinct, and I am glad that it went exactly the way I pictured it," Kudus said.

Kudus scored 14 goals and provided 6 assists, marking 20 goal contributions in his debut season at West Ham.

The 23-year-old also won the West Ham Goal of the Season and the Europa Goal of the Season awards for his stellar goals.

The former Ajax player also picked up the Footballer of the Year award for the second consecutive time at the Ghana Football Awards.
