“I am happy for Appiah and Ghana for qualifying for a third World Cup and especially because it was done with a Ghanaian coach. The first two were done by Serbians and now with a Ghanaian coach.
“He (Appiah) is a good coach and he has done well with the team. He was my assistant and has matured now. I am very proud of him”.
Appiah has made history as the first indigenous coach to have qualified the Black Stars to the Mundial.
