GFA Presidential candidate, Amanda Clinton has revealed she took the decision to contest for the GFA Presidential seat two months ago.
According to the astute legal practitioner, she took the decision to contest for the seat after her friends proposed to her to contest for the Executive Council position.
Ms. Amanda who was meeting the media in Kumasi used the opportunity to answer numerous questions pertaining her vision to become the first female to lead Ghana Football Association.
“It was two months ago when my friends advised me to go for the EXCO. But I realized been the President I can do more.
“I can do more to help the female team and help them in many ways”
Amanda also insisted she is not an opportunist as people are trying to say.
Executive Director of Dreams FC Kurt Okraku, Fred Pappoe, former GFA vice President George Afriyie , Lawyer Ankamah and Nana Yaw Amponsah are among the candidates contesting for the vacant GFA Presidential seat.
The Ghana Football Association election has been slated for 25th October, 2019 in Accra.
