Black Stars attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus has disclosed that he wants to improve his numbers and performances for West Ham United in the upcoming campaign.

The 23-year-old enjoyed an outstanding first season in England, raking in 14 goals and delivering six assists across all competitions for the Hammers.

Kudus returned to Europe a fortnight ago to begin pre-season with the London club under new manager Julen Lopetegui.

The exciting midfielder started the pre-season friendly against Ferencvaros in Austria. A game that ended 2-2.

“To start and announce myself, it was quite a good start for me personally [last season], but I believe I still have so much in me that I can still show to everyone. We will work on it and try to double how I performed last season and be even better going forward," he told WHUFC TV.

“Personally, I want to do better than I did last season with numbers and performances, but most importantly help the team get back into Europe and challenge for the top six. That’s what my personal goal is around, helping the team."
