Hearts of Oak forward Abednego Tetteh wants to help his new team win the Ghana Premier League (GPL) and qualify for Africa.
The lanky striker signed a three-year deal with the Phobians in the second transfer window according to reports.
With the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League in limbo due to the coronavirus pandemic, the former Bechem United forward is yet to make his debut for the Ghanaian giants.
Speaking on his ambitions for the club and the impact of the coronavirus on football in the country he said:
“Every body is affected by the Covid-19 and we pray this disease will go away so we will be free and football returns”, he told Happy 98.9 FM.
“I want to help the club qualify for Africa and win the league title. I already feel at home because the players here are already my friends. Football is one language and any team that you join irrespective of race or language makes you feel at home”, he added.
