Ex-Black Stars and Asante Kotoko play-maker, Ibrahim Sunday has revealed on Happy FM that he was once advised by a mad man while coaching in Ivory Coast.

According to the 1971 African Footballer of the Year, his modesty and willingness to listen to people are why he didn’t budge in listening to that advice from the insane man.

“I am a good listener and so I talk less and listen more. I remember that I was once advised by a mad man in Ivory Coast and I listened to it attentively. The madman spoke about a game we had played days earlier and I think I took something from it.” Alhaji Ibrahim Sunday told Happy FM.

Ibrahim Sunday who was also once voted African Coach of the Year further disclosed his willingness to coach the Black Stars if given the opportunity.

“I have the capability to coach the Black Stars if I’m given the opportunity. All the players will pass for my children so controlling them wouldn’t be an issue at all.” He said.

Ibrahim Sunday is currently the Chairman of Retired Footballers Association of Ghana.
