I will bring sponsors to Kotoko – Duncan

Newly appointed coach of Asante Kotoko, David Duncan says he would work beyond the scope of his job specification in an attempt to bring his sponsors to Kotoko.

Speaking at his unveiling in Kumasi yesterday, Duncan said “I have had discussions with the General Manager about my intention to help bring some companies to come and sponsor Kotoko. I say it to the glory of God that at least I am a very learned person and I have some contacts with certain corporate entities. So I intend to speak to some of them to come and help Kotoko financially.”

Duncan was officially unveiled as Kotoko coach yesterday, Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the Clubs secretariat in Kumasi.

Duncan, who accompanied Kotoko to Algeria and was in fact on the bench when the Porcupines drew goalless against MC El Eulma is expected to turn the fortunes of the club around.

Coach David Duncan replaces Coach Mas-ud Didi Dramani, who was asked to proceed on leave last month by Kotoko’s Board of Directors after a string of unimpressive results.

He has a two year mandate which runs out in 2017.
