Los Angeles forward Latif Blessing has vowed to give away more of the club jerseys to his Ghanaian fans.
The mercurial forward joined Los Angeles from Sporting Kansas City in the ongoing American transfer window.
And as the newly promoted side fervently prepare for the upcoming Major League Soccer campaign, Blessing has indicated that he will cement his fans base in Ghana by giving away more of the club's jerseys this season.
“When I score goals, all of Ghana are happy for me. When I scored the goal in the final I was so happy. I couldn’t sleep. I called my mom and said, ‘I did it.’ And she said she was so happy for me,” Blessing told lafc.com
“Everybody was happy for me in my family and friends."
"All of them were happy for me. After the season, I went back to Ghana and hung out with my friends. They were so happy. I showed my medal to everybody. And they were very, very happy."
“After the season, I brought 20 sets of my jerseys and I go to Ghana and give it out. Everyone is wearing my jersey."
"But some people didn’t get them. So this year, new Club, big city, I said I would bring even more jerseys.”
