Chairman of Maritzburg United, Farook Kodadia has refused to rule out a move for Asante Kotoko captain Felix Annan should he lose goalkeeper Richard Ofori to rival clubs.
Ofori's outstanding performance in the South African league has drawn interest from rival clubs such as Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns who are keen on acquiring the signature of the Black Stars player at the end of the season.
Felix was earlier reported to have agreed on a deal with Maritzburg United but Kodadia has denied those reports in his initial interview.
However, Koddia said he will take a critical look at Felix Annan if he loses Richard Ofori at the end of the season when speaking to Kumasi based Fox FM.
“I will weigh my options if I lose Ofori. I will give everybody a fair chance.”
“I will identify players who can replace him (Ofori). I know the keeper you are talking about [Felix Annan] and I will have to look at him very closely the moment I lose Ofori”.
He added that his outfit hasn't had any transfer negotiations with regards to Richard Ofori.
“At the moment Ofori is my player. He is not going anywhere at the moment. Because there are no negotiations yet,” he added.
