Accra Hearts of Oak Malik Akowuah has emotionally revealed he will not celebrate if he scores against former Club Medeama SC on Sunday.

The Phobians host the miners in match day 2 of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra sports stadium.

Though the midfield dynamo stated he will do everything to ensure the Miners fall to the Oak tree on Sunday, he wouldn’t disrespect his former Club by showing elation should he score on the day.

The midfielder dynamo believes it would be highly unprofessional for him to Jubilate a goal against a club that has made him who he is today.

”I will score once the opportunity comes but the truth is that I won’t celebrate,” he emphasized.

He added "Medeama gave me the platform and Hearts spotted me and signed me so I don’t see the need for me to Jubilate after scoring against them. When the opportunity comes I will score just that I won’t jubilate”.

Hearts host the miners in match day 2 of the Ghana Premier League after drawing one all against Inter Allies on their opening game at the El Wak sports stadium.

Medeama SC also beat WAFA 1-0 in their opening game at the Tarkwa T&A Park last Sunday.
