Lorient coach Sylvain Ripoll insists he doesn’t want to sell Ghana forward Jordan Ayew.

The 23-year-old is wanted at Lille by new coach Herver Renard.

Renard and Ayew share a close relationship during their time at Sochaux where Jordan was then on loan from Olympique Marseille.

The Ghana international is now tied to permanent deal at Lorient until 2018 but Renard remains unfatigued with his pursuit of Jordan.

Lorient coach Sylvain Ropoll is adamant he doesn’t want to lose Jordan who played a key role in their escape from relegation last term.

“This is a very important part of the team, someone who can much account as an integral part of the club’s project for the coming years,” Ripoll said of Jordan Ayew.

Lorient could however accept an offer of €8m for the Ghana international.
