I would’ve resigned by now if I were Maxwell Konadu - Coach J.E Sarpong

Coach Sarpong believes that resigning is a more dignified move Coach Sarpong believes that resigning is a more dignified move

Veteran Ghanaian Coach J.E Sarpong has indicated he would have quit the Black Stars B job beautifully if he were to be in the helm of affairs following the country’s shocking disqualification to the CHAN2018 tournament in Kenya.

Football fanatics in the country have called for the former Asante Kotoko trainer’s head after leading his charges to a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Burkina -Faso on Sunday in Kumasi despite drawing 2-2 in Ouagadougou in the first league.

Though Maxwell Konadu indicated at post- match conference he wouldn’t quit his job after Ghana’s failure to reach the finals of the tournament next year, the former Dwarfs coach says otherwise.

”I wouldn’t say Maxwell Konadu should resign but if I would have resigned if I were in his shoes because that would have been more dignified” he told Kumasi based FOX FM.

He added ” I think he will not resign due to economic reasons because if he does, how can he earn”
”Personally I would not have waited to be fired but will quit honorably if I were him” the Veteran gaffer concluded.
