Ghanaian international Ibrahim Osman has shared his reasons for choosing Feyenoord after securing a loan move during the current transfer window.
The 19-year-old has joined the Eredivisie club on a season-long loan from English Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion this summer.
Although he moved to England in July, Osman believes that spending a season on loan will enhance his development, especially given the intense competition for places at Brighton.
"At Feyenoord, young players are given the opportunity to develop. For my growth, it's beneficial to play here and improve various aspects of my game. I aim to use my skills to help the team achieve great things in the Eredivisie and in Europe," he said.
Osman is expected to play a significant role for Feyenoord in the 2024/25 season. The Dutch giants started their campaign with a 1-1 draw against Willem II in the Eredivisie opener.
He will also participate in the Champions League this season, following Feyenoord's second-place finish in the league last season.
The promising winger impressed in Denmark last season, scoring ten goals and providing eight assists in 44 appearances.
Having already made his debut for the Black Stars, Osman is eager to solidify his place in the national team.
