Former Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko star man Charles Asampong Taylor has urged his former side Asante Kotoko to up their game before visiting their arch-rivals Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
Taylor was at the Baba Yara Stadium yesterday to watch the Porcupines leave it late to beat struggling Ebusua Dwarfs 2-0. From his observations, Taylor has not been impressed with Kotoko output and has asked the team to back up or face humiliation against their bitterest rivals come Sunday.
“Kotoko should lift their play before going to Accra on Sunday, because how Hearts of Oak is playing of late is amazing. The way I saw Kotoko yesterday if they go to face Hearts of Oak with this form then they will be disgraced, seriously I didn’t like what I saw on yesterday even though they won”, Taylor told Fox FM in Kumasi.
Asante Kotoko travel to Accra to face their rivals Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium in match week 6 in the Ghana premier league.
