Eastern region division two campaigners Impilo Ghana FC will continue with their preparations for the upcoming league with a friendly on Thursday to test their battle readiness for the coming season.

They play Greater Accra division two side Mobile Phones People at the Madina No?. One School Park in what will be the latest in the series of trial games ahead of the start of the division two league in the Eastern region.

Since its formation a couple of months ago, Impilo Ghana FC has put up some impressive displays in the games they have been engaged in, and it is expected that the boys will live up to that billing in Thursday?s game.

They have already taken the scalp of Al Sadd FC who also plays in the Greater Accra second division, as well as selected sides they have come up against and would be expected to continue with their fine form.

Mobile Phones People FC have been seasoned campaigners in the Greater Accra second division league for years now, and would be expected to bring that experience to bear as they host this friendly.

Their season is already underway which makes them the favourites in Thursday?s game and it would therefore be a very testing examination for the Impilo Ghana team to stand up to this challenge.

The game is expected to be fiercely contested as the Impilo Ghana team has made clear their intentions of winning this one to send a strong message to teams in the Eastern region about their intentions for the upcoming league campaign.

It is the wish of the management of the club that they make a strong impact in the league this season with the hope of picking the single slot from the region to play second tier football next season.

They are expected to have in the line up for this friendly the likes of Illiasu Bawa, Shabam Bamba, Haruna Karba, Prince Derrick Osei, Nana Kyere, Mubarak Mohammed, Fidel Salifu, Richmond Osei and Adam Mohammed among others for this game.
