Ghana forward Inaki Williams is back on the pitch for Athletic Bilbao as they gear up for the 2024/25 season.

Williams recovered from a foot injury that forced him to miss Ghana's World Cup qualifiers in June.

The 29-year-old underwent surgery to remove a piece of broken glass and appears fully fit for the upcoming campaign.

A key player for Athletic Bilbao, Williams played a major role in their Copa del Rey victory last season, the club's first in 40 years.

He also enjoyed a productive season individually, scoring 12 goals in La Liga and helping Bilbao qualify for European competition.

While Inaki gets ready for the new season, his younger brother Nico Williams is excelling with finalists Spain at the European Championship in Germany.

Athletic Bilbao have lined up a series of friendly matches in July and August as part of their pre-season preparations.
