Ghanaian striker Inaki Williams, who is currently sidelined due to foot surgery, took to his official page to praise Jordan Ayew's sensational hat-trick in Ghana's 4-3 victory over the Central African Republic.

Williams, who was unable to participate in the match, simply wrote "MVP stareyes!", accompanied by a ringed planet and a star-struck emoji, as Otto Addo's lads secured a hard-fought victory in Kumasi.

The victory allowed Ghana to continue their winning form in Group I of the World Cup qualifiers, following a mixed start that saw them secure a 1-0 victory over Madagascar in Kumasi, before suffering a 1-0 defeat to Comoros in Moroni.

On June 6th, Ghana was able to secure a 2-1 victory over Mali, with goals from Ernest Nuamah and Jordan Ayew giving the away side the win.

Following the victory, Ghana faced the Central African Republic at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Monday, June 10, 2024, and secured a thrilling 4-3 victory. Jordan Ayew was the star of the show, scoring three goals, while winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku scored the other goal for Ghana.

The victory has put Ghana in a strong position in Group I, with nine points after four games, as they look to secure qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
