The Regional Sports Council in conjunction with the Regional Co-ordinating Council and the Institute of Transport and Development Policy (ITDP) would organise the second in the series of "Accra Bicycle Caravan" on Saturday, March 8.
A Statement signed Mr Hamid Issaka, Regional Sports Development Officer said the event, which is to celebrate the 46th Independence Day of Ghana would start from the Independence Square.
This is a follow-up to the maiden caravan that took place on January 25 with about 300 participants.
The statement said the main objective of the ride is to provide recreation, improve the health status of the participants and to reorganise the use of Bicycle as a means of transport.
It said participation is free and open to everybody provided the person has a bicycle.
All Participants are to assemble by 8am, the statement said.
