Inter Allies coach blames loss to Bechem United on poor officiating

Head coach of Inter Allies Prince Owusu has slammed the performance of referee Bernard Dumfe in their 1-0 loss to Bechem United in week 11 of the Ghana Premier League at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Sunday.

Inter Allies suffered a painful 1-0 defeat to the Hunters on match day 11 courtesy Nana Antwi Manu lone strike to help his side maintain their 6th position on the table.

“We outplayed them in every department of the game, we did really well but for no reason the referee decided the game on his own and you could see how the fans who came here to watch the match reacted to the performance of the referee,” Prince Owusu fumes.

“But, it’s been allowed by whoever is controlling football in Ghana, they allow the referees to do whatever they want. They should keep it up but I don’t care, the referee let us down.”

“If a referee is handling a game this way, how can you play. The fourth referee has his agenda because I saw some things in the match which were not pleasant and when I confronted him to report it, he did nothing. They have a mission and the mission is completed, so they should keep it up.”

The Eleven is to One lads drops into 13th position with 11 points from 11 games.
