Inter Allies FC in partnership with Pro ball is organizing a 3-day scouting Camp for football clubs at the Accra Sports Stadium.

18 clubs consisting of 5 premier league clubs, 11 division one clubs and 5 clubs from Nigeria are competing in the exercise with the hope of getting their players scouted by the 15 scouts from Europe who are in Ghana to monitor the event.

Each team is given a three match-competition and players who excel have the opportunity to earn a professional contract with an European club.

Tommy Seohn, a scout for Birmingham Legion in the US said he is so far impressed with the talents of some players and is hoping to scout 2 to 3 players after the end of the exercise.

“I have been coming to Ghana for the past 10 years and so I know the kind of talents they produce and I am always amazed about fresh talents that pop up anytime I come to Ghana for scouting. The exercise is not over yet but what I have seen so far is highly impressive. Hoping to get 2 to 3 players for Birmingham Legion FC,’’ Tammy Seohn told Starr Sports.

Meanwhile, former Inter Allies player Kassim Prosper who currently plays for Birmingham Legion FC and was scouted in a similar exercise is urging players participating in the scouting camp to be focused and work hard to be spotted.

“I was playing for Inter Allies and we always play this tournament and scouts come to Ghana from all over Europe. I was fortunate to be scouted to Sweden and now I am in America playing for Birmingham FC so this exercise is very good and you can only breakthrough and be spotted if you are focused, determined and hardworking’’ he told Starr Sports.
