Interdicted Mortagbe appears before investigative c’mittee

Neil Armstrong Mortagbe appeared before a special three-member committee to answer questions over allegations of misconduct as the Managing Director of Hearts of Oak.

The FIFA Marketing expert was the first to appear before the committee that commenced work on Thursday.

The committee has been handed a one-week mandate by the club’s board to investigate the several allegations of misconduct on the part of the suspended managing director.

Armstrong Mortagbe is accused of using his office as the administrative chief of Hearts of Oak to do shady deals.

He has also been accused of sitting on signing-on fees and allowance of players.

The club’s board has therefore instructed a thoroughly investigation to inform their next line of action.

Club captain Moro Abubakar has also made an appearance before the committee whose work is expected to end this coming Thursday.

The special committee is headed by former board chairman Commodore Mensah. The other members of the board are Justice Ivy Heward-Mills and Apiigi Afenu.
