The Ethics Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) will today, Thursday November 9, hold its first meeting on allegations of bribery and corruption in the Ghana Premier League.

Information picked from the corridors of the GFA by Footballwrap.com shows that the Ethics Committee has sent invitations to individuals who made several damning allegations over the integrity of the Ghana Premier League.

The Committee is expected to elicit information from its invitees to establish the truth of the claims made. Footballwrap.com can’t tell the names of all those who have been invited by the Committee to assist its work on Thursday, November 9, 2017. However, our sources at the FA disclosed that, Hearts’ musical group, Chapter ‘O’ leader, Aziz Haruna Futa has been invited.

He first went public with match-fixing deals undertaken by an official of his club. Others who have made statements that is deemed to have impugned the integrity of the league are Elmina Sharks owner, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom; Aduana Stars Chief Executive Officer, Albert Commey; Tema Youth coach, Edward Odoom; and Amidaus President, Baba Gedo.
