Ghana’s former boxing world champion, Isaac Dogboe says he has not given up on the prospect of winning another world title in the near future.

Dogboe has struggled for relevance since losing his last two bouts to Mexican boxer, Emmanuel Navarrete.

But Dogboe who has plans of moving up in weight believes he’s capable of winning another world title belt very soon.

Speaking in a recent interview, the 25-year-old who became one of Ghana’s youngest boxers to ever win a world title believes he still has what it takes to win another world title.

“I see myself winning another world title belt very soon, it could be any weight class,” Dogboe told Red Glove News.

For him getting another world title shot remains a possibility since people pull out of fights due to uncertainties in the game.

Explaining how he could land another shot at a world title, the Royal Storm said, “It is either someone is going to pull out of a fight and I’m just going there to knock the person out or it could also be that we going to take the fight as it comes.

With regard to his recent setbacks in fights, Isaac said, “Someone may overlook me and say he has lost two fights who knows, it is what it is, but I see myself becoming a two-time world champion.

The boxer is currently in US, California training at the Jack Rabbit Boxing gym due to the coronavirus pandemic.
