Communications Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo has refuted reports linking Ex-Kotoko assistant coach Isaac 'Opeele' Boateng to the Hearts technical bench.
While Multiple media reports have claimed the ex-Ghana Under-17 coach will be hired as an assistant to Kim Grant.
Opare Addo has denied the reports and labelled them as just ‘rumors’.
“Hearts Of Oak has not considered Coach Isaac Adade 'Opeele' Boateng as deputy to Kim Grant. The news on his supposed imminent appointment are just rumours”- He said in an interview with an Accra-based Zylofon FM.
Coach Isaac 'Opeele' Boateng has been without a job since he was sacked in 2015 over bribery allegations.
The tough-talking coach denied all the claims against him but was still fired after being offered no hearing.
It's unclear what has gone into the decision to hire him, but news of his potential appointment has divided opinions among the Phobian fans.
If appointed, he will work alongside substantive boss Kim Grant as talks continue to grow.
