Ghana defender Isaac Vorsah has been declared fit to play again and he played for Liefering in their 2-2 draw with Lustenau in the Austrian second-tier league on Friday.

The 27-year-old lasted 56 minutes for Liefering at the Untersberg-Arena, meaning he has won the fitness battle over a problematic leg injury that has troubled his career for THREE years.

Vorsah made a brief appearance for Liefering last November but returned to rehab to correct his ankle problem.

Red Bull Salzburg, who signed the former Asante Kotoko defender from German Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim, asked the towering centre-back to join Liefering - their second string side in 2015, to continue his return his rehabilitation programme.

Vorsah has not played for Ghana since playing in Ghana's 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Sudan at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

Ghana coach Avram Grant could be briefed by the Ghana FA technical directorate to begin monitoring the progress of the defender for his recall to the Black Stars.

He missed out of Ghana's campaign at the 2014 FIFA World Cup campaign and also missed out of the Ghana squad for the AFCON 2015 campaign in Equatorial Guinea.
