Ishmael Addo eyes another move to France

Ghanaian International, Ishmael Addo is still habouring the desire of playing in the French league for the second time in his football career.

Addo who presently plays in the Israeli league with Meccabi Natanya FC, had his first professional stint with French side, Bastia in the year 2000 on a loan agreement but failed to impress the French side to secure a permanent move.

Speaking to the GNA Sports at his Tema residence, the striker said he has seen a lot of improvement in his performance over the past two years in the Israeli league.

He said playing in France or Spain is now his target and he will train and work hard in a bid to attract the attention of scouts from that part of Europe.

Addo said playing in these countries had been his dream and he is hoping to go back to France to make amends after failing in the first instance, adding that Spain could also be a perfect place for him. The former three-time national goal king also expressed his joy over his return to the national team after a long absence. Addo who scored the first goal for the Meteors in the 2-0 victory over the Algerians at the Kumasi Sports Stadium last Sunday said he is looking forward to banging in more goals for the team in the near future.
