Ghana winger Christian Atsu has conceded his side Vitesse are not strong favourites for the 2013-14 Dutch Eredivisie title.
With seven matches to end the season, Ajax, who have a game in hand lead the log with 59 points, seven ahead of fourth-placed Vitesse.
Atsu said their main aim is to finish in a good position since toppling Ajax remain an uphill task.
“I think it will be very difficult to win the title. Ajax are a good team and it is difficult to see them lose.
“We are in the 4th position, and we will work hard to finish in a good position,” the former Porto player told Goal Ghana.
"The Dutch league is a very good competition, and the best place for young players because they like using young players here,” he added.
Atsu is currently on loan at Vitesse from English side Chelsea.
