Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara has disclosed that it is a waste of money and resources to sack players and sign new ones.

According to the coach, the Phobians will not engage in the mass dismissal of players, unlike their rivals Asante Kotoko, who have dismissed 21 players following the end of the 2023/24 season.

Although Hearts of Oak performed poorly on the league table compared to Asante Kotoko, coach Aboubakar Ouattara believes it is not prudent to release players who failed to perform last season.

In an interview with SportsObama TV, the coach said, "We are friends, and their sacking of players is not my problem. We are Hearts of Oak; I have my agenda and my policies."

"Who is losing? You are sacking 100 and bringing in 200; what are the results?" he asked.

"When I look at the results, we are struggling, and every time we are doing the same thing. Why haven't we changed? If you are building a house and you demolish it and start all over again, aren't you wasting money?" the Ivorian questioned.

Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak have parted ways with one of their key players, Salifu Ibrahim.
