Supporters chairman of Asante Kotoko, Kweku Amponsah popularly known as Chairman K5 believes it will be uncharacteristic to judge Steve Polack now.
Steve Polack who was appointed by the management of the club to replace Frimpong Manso led the the Porcupine Warriors to end their winless run in the Ghana Premier league with a hard-fought 1:0 win over Tema Youth in Tema in the match day 16 fixture.
The Reds had failed to register a win in eight league games. However, it took the effort of former Techiman City player, Baba Mahama's strike to ensure Kotoko returned to winning ways.
Despite Polack ending the winless run for the Warriors, the former Board Member believes it is too early to judge the former Berekum Chelsea manager.
"We are happy with the win against Tema Youth." He told Asempa FM. "Steve Polack is a good coach and that is what we have noticed.
"It is too early to judge whether he [Steve Polack] will deliver or not for the club because there are alot of things that we have to do internally.
"I will call on the supporters not to pressure the coach because he knows what we need. The supporters should support the players because I know with Polack around they will deliver.
"The management of the club are willing to do anything for the team succeed and getting a winning over Tema Youth at the home grounds, it shows that the players have improved." He added.
The win over Tema Youth has pushed the Warriors to the 5th position with 24 points.
