Ittihad El Shortah reject offer from Iraqi club for Nana Poku

Egyptian club Ittihad El Shortah has rejected an offer from Iraqi club Baghdad FC for the transfer of Ghanaian striker Nana Poku, DailySoccerGhana.com can exclusively reveal.

During the January transfer window, Ittihad El Shortah gave Baghdad FC the green light to commence negotiations with the former Ghana Premier League goal-king, but later made a U-turn, rejecting a transfer request from the Iraqi outfit.

On March 3rd this year, the 23-year-old attacker revealed his desire to prolong his stay at the club by penning a 2-year-contract extension.

The ex-Ashgold and Berekum Arsenal goal-poacher has scored 3 goals after 20 match-days in this season’s Egyptian Premier League.
