Former Coach of Premier League side Ebuasua Dwarfs, J.E.A Sarpong has lamented over the poor travelling arrangements of the Black Princesses to France for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.

The veteran tactician is not confident the Black Princesses can make any huge impact at the competition which begins on Sunday, following the current situation of football in the country.

According to J.E.A Sarpong, the preparations has been haphazard after their travelling plans were ruined over visa issues.

The team were initially scheduled for a training tour of Spain but was later cancelled before their departure to France on Monday, which was in batches.

"When you look at the France they are going, with the current situation in the country it has affected many of their preparations. From day one we all can attest to the fact that, preparations has been bad. But because we can't withdraw from the FIFA competition, we were forced to participate," he told Zylofon FM.

"The Liaison team facilitated the return of the girls to camp and the bad news is that, travelling arrangements was poor. First they were denied visas to travel to Spain and they decided to travel to France direct and that came with it's problems," he added.

"Of course if you are going for a competition and you have been scheduled to travel for a training tour and it's cancelled, it affects you morale. It will definitely go a long way to affect their performances. So for me, the World Cup they are going, I don't have hope they are going to make it far. With some players in Ivory Coast and all those stuffs it just appalling," he concluded.
