JSM Bejaia plan to shock Kotoko in Kumasi

JSM Bejaia have promised to make life difficult for Kotoko in their penultimate Champions League return leg qualifier in Kumasi on Sunday.

The Algerian side need a scoring draw to qualify to the last 16 of the competition after a 0-0 draw in their backyard two weeks ago.

Bejaia's coach Giovanni Solinas is confident they can advance but admits it would not come easy.

"Kotoko were lucky to have snatched a point in the first leg because my players were simply wasteful up front," the Italian coach said.

"We could have sealed their (Kotoko) doom had my boys taken their chances. We would stick to plan and refuse to lose focus at any point in the match."

JSM Bejaia have been training in Kumasi since arriving in Accra last Wednesday.

Bejaia's 29-man contingent comprises 17 players and 12 officials.
