Chairman of the MTN FA Cup Committee Alhaji M.N.D Jawula has congratulated the Ghanaian sports media for their unending support towards the competition.

Speaking at a press soiree the former Ghana Football Association President said, "Today we've called you members of the media to come and have a friendly interaction with us and also to thank you for your support throughout the competition. You media have helped us promote our sponsor MTN and I hope you finish with that same zeal", the Lepowura told www.sports24gh.com

The competition has entered it semi final stage with Feyenoord taken on Inter Allies at the Accra Sports Stadium this Sunday whiles Kumasi Asante Kotoko will also battle it out with city rivals King Faisal at the Baba Yara Stadium next week Saturday.

Each of the four teams that has made it to this stage takes GHC 4,000 and GHC 500 worth of MTN talk time. Each team also benefits 25% of the gate proceeds. However, the winner of the competition apart from receiving the coveted trophy will also take home GHC 30,000 whiles the first runner-up takes home GHC 15,000.
