Jesse Manyo-Plange departs Ghana ahead of battle against Michael Dasmarinas

Jessie Manyo-Plange has departed for Philipines ahead of his upcoming battle against Michael Dasmarinas.

The scheduled fight will come off on September 29 at the Marina Bay Sandso. At stake will be Dasmarinas’s IBO bantamweight belt.

Manyo-Plange and his trainer Dan Lartey left the shores of the country on Sunday afternoon.

Ahead of the fight, the two boxers have been talking tough as they have promised to destroy each other.

Manyo-Plange in an interview said, “I’m ready for the upcoming fight. My aim is to win and I’m going to achieve it.”

“Dasmarinas is a good fight fighter no doubt about, he is the reigning champion but I will dethrone him no matter. I have been waiting for this opportunity and finally, I have gotten, so Iwon’tdisappointt my fans.”

“I will surely bring honour to Ghana.”

Dasmarinas also had something to say, “I am excited to fight again, I wish the fight were tomorrow already.”

“As a boxer, I am I’m training very hard for this next fight. I’m training as hard as the last time, but now I want to prove myself even more as a boxer, especially now, that I have the IBO World Bantamweight belt with me. To my fans, please keep on supporting me, and praying for our win. To the Filipinos, especially those in Singapore, please come and support my fight. I will make sure I would win for my country.”
