JoeTex, Attram, Edusei to miss WC?

Black Stars squad to be overhauled

The senior national team, the Black Stars squad faces a major overhaul following the team?s disappointing showing at the African cup of nations.

Handlers of the team have hinted that eight players will be dropped from the 23man party that represented the country in Egypt.

Players like Joe Tex Frimpong, Godwin Attram and Dan Edusei face a probable expulsion from the squad following a not-too-impressive display at the tournament.

Coach Ratomir Dujkovic is expected to name his team for the upcoming international friendly against Mexico on March 1.

Michael Essien, Sulley Muntari and Asamoah Gyan who sat out the Nations cup with various injuries are expected to make the team for the first warm up game for the summer?s world cup in Germany.

After coming in for harsh criticism following his absence at the Egypt tournament, Essien has re-affirmed his commitment to the national team and insists he?ll be available for all of Ghana?s friendlies ahead of the world cup.
