Ghanaian international, Joetex Frimpong, who plays club football in Nigeria for Coca-Cola FA Cup finalist, Enyimba FC of Aba, has been nominated for the Most valuable Player Award in the competition.
Frimpong, has been in great form in the Coca-Cola FA cup with three goals to show for his efforts.Other contenders for the MVP Award include his colleague and roommate, Muri Ogunbiyi, who is a Republic of Benin international and Timothy Anjembe, who plays for their opponents in the final match, Lobi Stars.
Speaking on his performance in the competition, he said: "I am happy that Enyimba is doing well and we want to get this cup for the first time. This is the only cup that I am yet to win in Nigeria.
"I have to continue with my good form to also win the Most Valuable Player Award. It is an award that I would cherish if it gets to me,"he said.
