JoeTex promises to showcase his talent

Ghana international Joetex Frimpong promise to do well in Ghana's squad for the nations cup.

"l have worked hard to gain selection into the team and l hope to do all what l can to help Ghana lift the trophy because I once help Enyimba to lift the CAF champions league and scored 14 goals in the process".

"This is not champions league but l believe l can prove my worth because nations cup is a platform for best players" he added.

The Enyimba star would be the second Nigerian-based Ghanaian player, after goalkeeper Eduard Ansah to play against Nigeria in the nations cup.

Ansah was in goal when the Black Stars beat super eagles 2-1 in Senegal 92 nations cup.

lnterestingly, Ansah, who made his name while playing for two Nigerian clubs, Leventis united and lwuanyanwu national in the 80s and 90s is the currently blackstars goalkeeper's trainer.
