According to the British tabloid, Daily Express, English premiership league(EPL) side, Reading FC, want to sign John Mensah

Steve Coppell, boss of the premiership new-boys, is reported to have made an offer to the Ghanaian defender's French side, Rennes.

It's not yet known of if Rennes has received the offer

Reading had an excellent 2005-06 season, winning the League Championship title and clinched an EPL spot more than month ago.
