Black Stars goalkeeper Joseph Wollacott delivered a standout performance for Crawley Town on Tuesday night, helping his team secure a 4-2 victory over Swindon Town in the first round of the EFL Cup.

Starting in goal, Wollacott was crucial to his side's success, particularly when he saved a penalty that could have levelled the game.

Crawley took the lead after Ade Adeyemo equalized in the first half. In the second half, Jack Roles extended the lead with a well-taken goal.

However, Swindon responded through Nnamdi Ofoborh, who reduced the deficit to 2-1.

Swindon was then awarded a penalty, but Wollacott’s heroics denied Will Wright from the spot.

Although Harry Smith scored from the resulting corner, Crawley regained control with further goals from Jack Roles and Rafiq Khaleel, sealing the win.

With this victory, Wollacott and Crawley advance to the second round of the EFL Cup, continuing their cup journey.
