Swansea City striker Jordan Ayew is happy with his overall performance this season, but admits the need to up his game.

The Ghana international has been a key feature of Paul Clement's outfit this season, having played in all 17 league games thus far, starting 16.

Nonetheless, his goal ratio has been far from convincing as he has only one strike to his name.

“My season has been up and down,” Jordan told his club's official website.

“I just have to keep working hard and push to get back to my best.

“I believe in myself and what I can do for the team and I want to get more Premier League goals.

“I have been here almost a year and I am very happy here. The season might have been difficult, but personally I am very happy.”

Jordan joined Swansea from Championship side Aston Villa in January.

He made 14 appearances in the half-season campaign with the Jack Army, contributing one goal.

The 26-year-old has also played for Sochaux, Lorient and Marseille in the French topflight.
