; starts pre-season training with Marseille
Ghana striker Jordan Ayew will start training with Marseille today (Monday) even though his future with the French club is uncertain, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively report.
The 22-year-old will join his Marseille team-mates in training today as he begins preparations for the upcoming season.
Ayew’s holiday was extended following his participation in the World Cup with Ghana and was expected to have re-joined the team with his brother Andre last week.
But he was allowed to return to Sochaux, where he was on loan last season, to bring his belongings which further delayed his arrival.
Jordan is regarded as surplus to requirements by new coach Marcelo Bielsa and said to be on the verge of leaving the Stade Velodrome.
Ayew is sought after by clubs in the French Ligue 1 (Lille and Lyon) and also rumours are rife he could be heading to German side Borussia Monchengladbach.
The son of legend Abedi Pele featured in all three matches at the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals.
