Leicester City fans have chosen Jordan Ayew's first goal for the club as their Goal of the Month for August 2024.

The 30-year-old netted his debut goal for the Foxes in their 4-0 EFL Cup victory over Tranmere Rovers last month.

The match at the King Power Stadium marked Ayew's first start for Leicester City after coming on as a substitute the previous weekend.

Ayew found the back of the net with a powerful strike from outside the penalty box just 38 minutes into the game.

The award winner was announced early on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.

Ayew joined Leicester City on a two-year contract after ending his six-year tenure with Crystal Palace during the summer transfer window.

The Ghanaian international is expected to be a significant asset for Steve Cooper's team as they aim to remain in the Premier League following their promotion.

Jordan Ayew is anticipated to play on Saturday when Leicester City faces his former club, Crystal Palace, in the Premier League.
