‘Jordan is a big player in the making’

After putting up a man of the match performance in the final 2015 AFCON group game between the Black Stars of Ghana and the Hawks of Togo, son of soccer maestro, Abedi Ayew Pele, Jordan Ayew, has won for himself, admiration from fans, technical men and administrators alike compelling many to describe him with different adjectives.

Togolese national team coach, Tchakala described the Lorient attacker as a “strong player” after the game and indicated that his performance will always go up so long as his elder brother is out of the Ghanaian side but former Hearts of Coach and ex-skipper of the Black Stars, C.K. Akonnor, thinks otherwise.

According to CK, Jordan is a huge prospect who is gradually growing into becoming the striker we have all wished to see him be.

In response to Tchakala’s comments, CK said, “Well I think that is the view of Tchakala. But I believe that Jordan is a huge prospect and a big player in the making. He joined the team as a young boy and he is gradually moving into the ranks.”

“Players like Waris and co must work hard to improve, either than that, Jordan will always be ahead of them in the national team. The boy is strong and a hardworker. He does not fear any defender and I am very happy seeing him play like that”, CK added.
