Oblogo (GA), Oct. 25, GNA - Visiting Juantex of Juapong whipped Oblogo Sportnet when they went into rampage to record a 4-2 win over the home side at Oblogo in their Division One League match on Sunday. Juantex's striker, Yakubu Issaka Razak who played a great game hit the target three times in the 14th, 49th and 64th minutes to record a hat-trick and ensure victory for his side.
It was the visitors who gave a strong indication of serious business right from the start of the game when Issaka Razak wove his way through the defence of the Sportnet to score the opener in the 14th minute.
Sportnet accepted the challenge and three after they quickly cancelled the lead through a header from Abubakari Awel to come to level terms with the visitors during the first half.
On resumption of the second half, slippery Razak again took advantage of a defensive blunder to race ahead to score his second goal for Juantex in the 49th minute.
Three minutes later Razak was again on another target but was he was brought down in the penalty box and the referee who was near the scene did not hesitate to award a spot kick and Nurudeen Osman expertly converted it to bring the scores to 3-1 in favour of Juantex.
The Oblogo boys, coached by former Olympics player, Ben Fukuo never gave up the fight and continued to pile pressure on the visitors and their effort earned them a goal in the 54th minute through William Lissan when he slotted home a 15-metre free kick straight into the net. Issaka Razak was on hand to seal the doom of the home side with a classic goal in the 64th minute to bring the final scores to 4-2 in favour of Juantex.
The Oblogo boys were awarded a penalty in the 66th minute but the chance was wasted by Alex Asare to reduce his side's tally. Oblogo Sportnet will host Oda King Solomon at the same venue next week in their eighth week Division One League match on Sunday.
