Former Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, has announced his retirement from coaching, deciding to end his career.

He explained that after careful consideration, he believes it is the right time to step away, given his age and experience.

Klopp mentioned that while this is his decision for now, he is not completely ruling out future opportunities, despite being linked to various clubs and national teams.

“Let’s see what it will look like in a few months. Nothing is coming through at the moment. As of today, that’s it for me as a coach. I didn’t quit on a whim; it was a general decision,” he said, as quoted by 3news.com.

Previously, Klopp had announced he would take a one-year break from coaching before deciding on his future.

The German coach has established himself as one of the best in the world, winning the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund and numerous trophies with Liverpool, including the UEFA Champions League, English Premier League, Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, English FA Cup, and Carabao Cup.

He also won the best coach of the year award in Europe and the Premier League.
